Heathcote is an elderly butler wearing a brown suit complete with brown trousers and a white undershirt. He wears white boots and has white hair which appears to be tied in a ponytail.
Heathcote is a butler, but he is very cunning, able to trick Therion into getting the band. He is shockingly knowledgeable about the underground, knowing about the black market which Therion notes "You have to be a part of it to know about it". Heathcote is also very subtle, able to slip the Fools Bangle onto Therion.
During the events of Octopath Traveler, three of the four treasures of Ravus Manor, the Dragonstones are stolen. In order to retrieve them, Heathcote hatches a plan to lure and blackmail a thief into retrieving them.
He places the remaining dragonstone in the Manor, hoping to entice a thief to steal it. When a thief attempts to steal it, Heathcote would sneak up on them and place a band on their arm. This band would let everyone know that the thief wearing it has performed a "humiliating blunder". Naturally, the thief would want this band removed so Heathcote would tell them that he would only remove the band if they recovered the remaining three Dragonstones. Unfortunately for Therion, he is the unlucky thief who is tasked with this.
- Therion - Therion is the thief who falls for Heathcote's deception. When Lady Ravus attempts to befriend Therion, Heathcote notes that "He [Therion] wouldn't be able to stand compassion from the ones who deceived him."
- Lady Ravus - Heathcote serves her. He also is the one who recommend that the lady does not attempt to befriend the thief.
